Kenji Hachiro (鉢 (はち) 呂 (ろ) 健 (けん) 二 (じ) , Hachiro Kenji^?) is a student at Tokyo University of Arts (Geidai), being in the same department as Yatora Yaguchi.

It was revealed later on in the series that he is not Japanese.

Relationships

Hachiro presumably met Momoyo Kakinokizaka and became friends with her while working as a Buddhist Altar salesman. Both were friends with Machiko Sanada and was introduced to Yakumo Murai by her.

• The name Kenji means "healthy, strong" (健) (ken) and "two" (二) (ji).
• Kenji's surname Hachiro means "pot/flowerpot, bowl, basin, crown, brainpan" (鉢) (hachi) and "spine, backbone" (呂) (ro).
• Kenji is a fan of boardgames and often plays with Momoyo (who has yet to beat him).
